Bitter liqueurs

Pleasant on the palate, bitter liqueurs are the product of the most traditional application of medicinal herbs.

The century old secret formulas, jealously guarded by our company and whose origins are lost in time, are the result of a wise and careful combination of different blends.

Elisir Novasalus

A natural bitter liqueur made of medicinal herbs obtained from a careful blend of infusions, decoctions, flowers, roots and herbs’ macerations in flavoured wine – this is the greater pride of our product range.

The secret of its formula lies in the exact combination and doses of the many plants composing this elixir (more than 30 plants including Burdock, Dandelion, Aloe Vera, Gentian, Frangula, Chincona…). They help many organs in doing their job (stomach, liver, gall bladder, intestines, pancreas and colon), improving the body functioning thus avoiding the need for drastic interventions, too.

It can be used when needed or for long periods without causing any problem. A small glass after a meal helps the digestion, but it’s also useful for changes in climate or season, to quench the thirst in a hot summer’s day, or as an irreplaceable friend in everyday life.

Amaro Trentino

The herbs from the mountains of Trentino, such as the sweetscented woodruff, peppermint, centaury, gentian create a high quality product and confer a rare elegance of taste.
An historical product, first created at the end of the 50s, whose label has remained unaltered over time, it represents our territory and serves as a wonderful (and tasty) memento for the tourist to take home.

Elisir dello speziale

The personal elixir of the founder (in the 19th century “Speziale” was the pharmacist): exotic spices and herbs from Trentino blended in a delightful harmony.

The formula, as the ingredients, remained unaltered over time. Particular care is invested in the preparation while the necessary production time is of an essence and the methods and instructions for each single spice are fully respected. This is one of the secrets to the harmony and effectiveness of this amaro.

There’s only one important advice: serve it in small glasses because… one leads to another.

Amaro Sfumato

The term “Sfumato” refers to a pictorial shade characterizing the Renaissance style: subtle transitions between areas of light and dark, where the two elements are in a balanced blend. In this way this bitter liqueur stands out between the bitter shades of alpine herbs and the sweet notes of wild berries.

The main ingredient is Chinese Rhubarb, which is part of Cappelletti production of bitter liqueurs and aperitifs since more than a century thanks to its peculiar officinal properties.

Rutaben

A strong sugarless bitter liqueur made from both medicinal mountain and exotic herbs. Thanks to its 45° alc. vol. it is “only for few connoisseurs of a certain culture and taste”.

Made mostly of Gentian, this bitter liqueur is made for those who love an intense bitter taste in the real sense of the word bitter. Its formula belongs to a 1617’s herbal where emerged the many qualities of this bitter liqueur as “driving away the flatulence” and “giving a pleasant breath”.

Amaro Pasubio

The true taste of Trentino Dolomites.

A low alcohol content, wine based bitter liqueur with only 17 % alc. vol., prepared with aromatic plants and roots gathered on Pasubio and Colsanto mountains.

Together with the bitter hints of alpine herbs and Mountain Pine it’s possible to find the surprising sweet notes of Blueberries. This bitter liqueur contains the whole flavour of our mountains.

A must try is Pasubio Spritz, a sparkling drink where you only need Pasubio and Posecco! It’s the perfect base for a mountain aperitif where Mountain Pine gives all its flavour and smell. Who says that a Spritz can only have a red colour?

Alta Verde

The main ingredient of Alta Verde is wormwood. Its typical bitter profile is well balanced thanks to an additional blend of bright alpine herbs, spices and citrus fruits. Its aroma remembers a summer forest in its lush beauty.

This bitter liqueur is different from a traditional one: wormwood is used in a different way comparing to the classic absinthè characterized by a high alcohol content. The main interest are the bitter notes of this interesting plant.

Amaro di Bosco

A herbal liqueur prepared according to an ancient herbalist’s formula with traditional care and diligence that guarantees the use of only natural ingredients and traditional methods.

For our friends owning a hotel, bar or restaurant we reserve the opportunity to customize the label of this bitter liqueur even for small orders.

Cent'anni

The most recent Cappelletti product; it was produced on the occasion of the centenary celebrations in 2009. In order to produce this bitter liqueur has been used one of the many formulas that the founder left in his personal notes but never adopted before.

A selection of Trentino herbs and roots whose blend perfectly in this liqueur characterized by a delicate and elegant sweet taste.

Amaretto del Concilio

Precious and elegant liqueur. Its sweetness and balance are the product of a skillful and patient production process of the almond. The almond is the edible seed of the almond tree, a plant belonging to the Rosacee family (as the peach tree), growing to circa 10 m in height.

Inside the almond fruit are enclosed two seeds rich in oil with a sweet or bitter taste according to the type.
