Maraschino is a sweet liqueur, obtained from the distillation of morello cherries, a particular type of sour cherries.
Sweet and colorless, it has an alcohol content of 30% vol.
In the kitchen it is used for the preparation of desserts or in addition to fruit salads or on top of ice cream.
Its use in mixing is fantastic
